R.P. Vats

Mr R.P. Vats is the Managing Partner of VGC Law Firm (formerly Vats Gupta & Co.). He has been in the legal profession for more than 50 years and has been well recognised and made a name in banking and finance. Mr Vats has been the Vice-Chairman of the Bar Council of Delhi and the Founding President of the DRT Bar Association, Delhi. Since the inception of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Mr Vats has appeared before NCLAT and NCLTs in insolvency-related matters for different stakeholders. Besides, he has taught in the Law Faculty, Delhi University and other prestigious institutions such as Management Development Institute, Gurugram and training academies of various banks and financial institutions for many years. Apoorv Sarvaria

Mr Apoorv Sarvaria is an Advocate, Insolvency Professional and qualified Independent Director. He is currently a Partner at VGC Law Firm. He is a former Judge in District Courts, Delhi (DJS). As an Advocate, he represents insurance companies, banks and financial institutions and other Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) before the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi, NCLAT, NCLTs and various arbitral tribunals. He has written many articles and contributed to many law books on different subjects. He has been the resource person for the IBBI, ICSI, Institute of Insolvency Professionals, Delhi Judicial Academy, Indian Law Institute and other Universities and law schools.

Yashika Sarvaria

Ms Yashika Sarvaria is an Advocate. She is currently a Partner at VGC Law Firm. She is a qualified Independent Director. She appears in many arbitrations and courts in commercial matters, including banking, insurance, insolvency and construction-related matters. She has written many articles on commercial laws, especially arbitration and insolvency laws, in various international journals.
